I also use sort tags, which Jriver doesn't support fortunately, I think the "Band" tag can be used in the place of my most important sorting: Artist. I couldn't get my playlists imported but I think that's a user error. My only reservation is giving up all the smart playlists, play histories and ratings that I've steadily built on all these years.
